I was born in Drogheda Co. Louth Ireland 25/05/1958. I was always interested in drawing as a child, and greatly encouraged by my primary school teacher to continue to pursue art. My mother helped me sell my first oil painting of a tiger in Drogheda when it was seen through the shop window where she worked. I have always had a keen interest in nature, flora & fauna. I want to produce photographic art work that will be treasured by all that embrace my work. I love to express my appreciation of nature all around me through photography that has an artistic slant. I want to continue to produce new work and expand the arena of artistic photography. I hold a QQI Award of Distinction for Digital Photography level 6.
